Griffin Tactical, ergonomic charging handle manufactured of 4340 alloy steel, heat treated and parkerized. Many people ask why do I need a charging handle? With certain optics, when the operator grabs the charging handle to actuate the bolt, the optic may interfere with the operator's hand or finger. Griffin Tactical's new charging handle for the SIG 55X eliminates this interference. Please note this charging handle will not work with a right side folding stock when folded.

 

Charging Handle Installation Instructions

• Make sure weapon is clear and safety is on!
• Lie the 55X series rifle on it's side, charging handle pointing upwards with rail/optic facing towards you.
• Depress charging handle catch (push towards magazine well) with the other hand, wiggle and pull out the factory handle.
• Lightly oil Griffin Tactical handle (if handle is new, oil is already applied, unless wiped dry).
• Depress charging handle catch and insert Griffin Tactical handle, making sure catch aligns with the slot in handle.
• Cycle action by hand to ensure everything is free moving and functions properly.
• Head to range with ammo and ENJOY!
